help on the simulation using CANoeI want to simulate a CAN system having over 30 ECUs using CANoe. A complete dbc database file is available. All messages are defined periodically pubished. In the "simulation setup" of CANoe, I generated all ECU nodes by "node synchronization" from the database. But I found there is no any message transmitting after I run the configuration. Do I have to program indivdual ECUs using CAPL in order to realize the message sending/receiving? Any suggestion will be appreciated. Many thanks. RE: help on the simulation using CANoeDear Juergen Thanks for you replying. Yes. All messages are assigned to their related ECUs in DBC file. Let me descride the steps what I did in more details: step1: get the DBC file ready; step2: start CANoe and create a new configuration using the default template; step3: in the "simulation setup", add the above DBC file into the database; step4: from the added database, choose "node synchronization" to generate ECU nodes. step5: run the configuration, but no any message is transmitting!! Re: R: help on the simulation using CANoeHi Marco
In the DBC file, in addition to the difinitons of ECUs and their messages and signals, the attribute definitions are also needed. The attributes include for example message sending type and cycle time, node layer modules.
