I just had to pull out my NVIDIA graphics card because it died. I'm able
to bring up the system by selecting "Ubuntu 9.04, kernel
2.6.28-13-generic (recovery mode)" at boot and then selecting "resume
normal boot" from the "recovery menu". Things seem to work but they're
slow a fair bit of the time(i.e. the text cursor will sometime go away
for 5 or 10 seconds).
I would like to know how I reconfigure to make better use of the
motherboard's graphics hardware(ATI RadeonĀ® Xpress 200 Integrated
Graphics) and how to get back to a normal boot sequence? Also should I
remove the NVIDIA drivers and files that are there?
