how to add sinusoidal vibration wave to solid bar structure

Dear All:
   I am doing a simulation for my thesis, The physics model is aluminum  bar under the impact of ultrasonic vibration(60KHz) at one end, and another end is constrained. I did not know how to add this kind of sinusoidal wave(time period 200ms) vibration to the bar. What is more, what kind of analysis procedure should I use?dynamic or steady state dynamic?
