how to post data using http outbound endpoint

Hi,
I just now started reading about mule. I like the tool but the big problem is documentation and examples are very limited. how to configure xml is also very limited.

Now here is my problem. I would like to get data through a servlet and then would like to call a url and want to post data on that url

How can I do the same ?

Pls help me
