I definitely think there is value in it. :-)
A few times, I've kind of wondered why we even have to use the CXFServlet when
using spring. This may help with that a bit.
On a related note, I also think it would be worth while to make CXFServlet a
servlet filter as well. That would allow endpoints to be registerrable
pretty much anywhere, not just on "/services". I know Wink just did that to
their Servlet so it shouldn't be too hard. Jersey also provides this.
