Re: i really need helpI'm not really sure if I understand your question, but I'll try anyway. If your question is about Stat Checks and Challenges, I think I can help you out.
Stat Check: To do a stat check, all you have to do is check the stats on your Creature for the Discipline (Courage, Power, Speed, or Wisdom) on the Attack Card, and see if it is at least the same value on the Attack Card. For instance, let's say I'm battling with Grook, and I want to use Ektospasm. To use Ektospasm's effect (Stat Check Power 50: Deal 5 damage), I would check to make sure Grook's Power stat is at least 50. It's 110, so it is at least 50, and so I deal 5 damage to my opponent. Challenge: To do a challenge, you have to compare you and your opponent's Creatures' stats for the Discipline on the Attack Card, and see if your Creature's stat exceeds that of your opponent's. So, for instance, if I'm using Tartarek and my opponent is using Toxis. If I want to use the effect of Shadow Strike (Challenge Courage 15: Deal 10 damage), I have to check and make sure that Tartarek's Courage is at least 15 points higher than Toxis'. Tartarek's Courage is 90, and Toxis' is 45, meaning Tartarek's Courage is 45 points higher than Toxis', so Toxis takes 10 damage. In neither case do the stats go down when you use the effect. The only time the values for Discipline stats change is if a card's effect explicitly says it does (for instance, Intimidate lowers an opponent's stats, Support increases Courage for each adjacent OW creature you control, Ring of Na'arin increases Power and Wisdom, Song of Focus temporarily increases all 4 stats, and Rip Tide temporarily decreases your opponent's courage. In each case, the card says that creatures will gain or lose points in a particular stat). In girum imus nocte et consumimur igni |

Re: i really need helpa tie for stats like i had the battle gear phobia mask which has intimidate courage and power 10. so lets say there is a challenge card o lets go with a card that has(challenge wisdom 15.) and the creatures are rellim and frafdo. it doesnt match up so u use something with intimidate to make rellims wisdom go down to equal frafdos. wut then? srry if it was confusing.

Re: i really need helpIf there's a tie, then the challenge fails. The point is that if you play an attack card that says "Challenge Power 15" for an ability to take effect, your creature's Power has to be at least 15 points greater than your opponent's Power. So, if your opponent wants to stop you from doing any damage with a card like Ektospasm, they could play something like Song of Treachery or Song of Focus onto the burst you started with Ektospasm, as long as doing so would shrink the gap between your creature's Power and theirs to something less than 15.
In your example, if you're using Frafdo and your opponent is using Rellim, and in the battle your opponent plays Sleep Sting, it would do an extra 10 damage if you do nothing, because the difference between Frafdo's and Rellim's Wisdom stats is exactly 15. However, if you do something like raise your own Wisdom (via Song of Focus, or if you equipped Frafdo with a Ring of Na'arin at the beginning of the game) or lower your opponent's (via Song of Treachery, or in the future, cards with Intimidate: Wisdom), the difference between your and your opponent's Wisdom will be smaller than 15, and the effect of Sleep Sting won't take effect. Does that clear it up? In girum imus nocte et consumimur igni |
