Just FYI: There seems to be a new 3D modeler for the mac:
   http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=5493
.. seems to be good from the UI and ease-of-use standpoint.

It is for-pay, at $149.

Hey Owen,

I tried this out and didn't like it because the toolset seemed very
limited and the interface didn't make sense to me.  I read some
reviews about Cheetah 3D and they all seemed to express that the
software was for beginners.

Have you found anything that you like yet?

Tyler

No, haven't tried anything .. my interest was stimulated by questions
by Gil about 3D modeling systems so I kept my eye out for solutions.

I'm surprised Mac hasn't something nifty, but I guess the market is
pretty much oriented towards the high end.  But I still have hopes ..
both in image editing and in 2D drawing there have been good apps at
reasonable prices emerging out of the community.
