imon wake from s3

Hi,

I've got an Antec fusion (15c2:ffdc imon) with an ASUS M2A-VM HDMI motherboard.
Reading the web I've gotten the impression that it's possible to wake up the
system from S3 using the remote. I've managed to config the system to wake up
from S3 using a USB keyboard, so I hope that the ffdc should be possible too.

The Web suggests (the case's manual leaves a lot to be desired) that the case's
power switch should be connected to circuitry on the VFD, and that the
VFD's power cables should go to the MB. This way it's supposed to be possible
to wake up using either of IR and the case's power switch.

Needless to say, I don't get it working.

I've connected the cables as the web suggests, and the case's switch works as
before. The Remote causes nothing to happen though..

The Remote in question is a harmony 525 configured for MCE ir_protocol. The
Remote gets menu entries for power_on power_off power_toggle. Nothing happens
though.

Is there some extra programming needed (either on the remote, or in the
lirc_imon module)? Some /sys/... flags that need setting (I've got all
'wakeup' entries set to 'enabled' wherever possible)?

I'm a tad confused as to why this usb device don't wake up the system using
USB magics (as my USB keyboard does), but rather have additional wiring towards
the MB. Anything I miss here?

/Anders

Yeah, the power switch lead from the case gets routed to the LCD/VFD,
then there's a cable on the LCD/VFD that goes to the power switch
header on the motherboard.

I wonder if the power button signal in mce mode isn't set up
appropriately to tickle the power switch like the power button signal
from the imon remotes... It definitely works with my 0045 LCD. (Just
got an 0044 VFD as well for testing purposes, haven't tried it out yet).

You could try programming another device into your harmony remote that
emulates the Antec MediaPC/Veris/whatever remote (model RM-200,
rebadge of the iMON PAD remote). That's actually what my harmony 880
is set up as at home, and it works quite well. Though I've not
actually tried sending the power command from the harmony, only from
the stock remote

Probably doable, and just hasn't been done.
