you wouldn't believe how common that is in seoul – it's amazing what  
they do with their motorcycles and scooters! i saw this man carrying  
this huge plastic bag filled with water and eels on the back of his  
scooter – it must have weighed a hundred+ pounds and was wiggling all  
over the place – but he was so nonchalant about it. :)

It is indeed humbling to see how much people in the developing world  
can do with so little. It is quite common here in Ecuador to see an  
entire family on a 100cc motorcycle: Dad in front driving, two small  
children behind him, and Mom on the rear to keep the little ones from  
falling off the back while she herself holds an infant in her arms.  
All this on a motorcycle with very little or no lighting, at dusk in  
the fog.
