As for some people here, I need the legacy driver because of its embedded AP mode support.
However, on my target there is still this firmware load problem at startup that was supposed to be bypassed by some delays, and playing on device reset.
It does only work randomly. I never encountered a problem using the legacy driver on x86 platform/2-6-29.1 kernel, but I encounter it very often on the mips platform with the same kernel.
Because of long term issues (random driver lock once in a week on a "high disponibility" application), I wanted to rmmod/insmod the driver "as a temporary solution", but this ep0 lock is really killing me.
I checked the new release (code reading) but did not find anything helpful.
Has someone also encounter this problem? If so, can you share about it? Any workaround?
Last solution : is the embedded cpu a known one? If so I may be willing to hack into firmware.
