installation problem .....Help

hi all I am novice in Smarty, I need yours help... I am trying to install Smarty-2.6.14 on my FC5, with PHP5 & apache2 I get following error: - Fatal error: Smarty error: unable to write to $compile_dir '/home/rakesh/public_html/Smarty/templates_c'. Be sure $compile_dir is writable by the web server user. in /usr/local/lib/php/Smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1095 I am trying at my home dir.. pls help me out thanks onewaylife
