installation problem

installation problem

Hi,

I m new user of CartoWeb. I have installed the CartoWeb using the cartoweb-setup-3.5.0-win32.exe
, but when I tried to open the application http://localhost:8080/cartoweb3/htdocs/client.php I received a failure massage. What changes should be done?

there is a novelty in the latest mapserver version, you need to modify a bit the symbol file (.sym usualy, in server_conf/your_project/)
please see mapserver documentation for the details

The quick and dirty answer just start your symbol file with the keyword
SYMBOLSET

and terminate it by
END

with all symbols between this two keywords.

But as Oliver said, a bit of reading mapserver documentation doesn't hurt :-))
