I tried to connect my IPAQ hx4700 to my computer with Ubuntu jaunty.
My PDA uses Windows Mobile 6 Classic CE OS 5.2.1908 (Build 18508.0.7.0
I used the instructions of
http://www.synce.org/moin/SynceInstallation/Ubuntu/ModernDevice
All went well until the command synce-pls
hai@hai-laptop:~$ synce-pls
** Message:
Device /org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/usb_device_3f0_1016_noserial_if0_serial_usb_0 not fully set in Hal, skipping
** Message: Odccm is not running, ignoring
synce-pls: Could not find configuration at path '(Default)'

who can help me?
Hai

Hi,

I would like to add that via my website I have done some helping already.
An overview of what has been done can be found in the comments of:

(This might help with preventing questions being asked twice :) )

Kind regards,

Guido Diepen
