intall gcc344 problem

when install gcc344
i follow the readme
mkdir b-gcc
cd b-gcc
../gcc-3.4.4/configure --target=or32 --prefix=/opt/or32 --with-local-prefix=/opt/or32/or32 --with-gnu-as --with-gnu-ld --verbose --enable-languages=c

make all install

and occur a error

checking if mkdir takes one argument... no
