Generally for encryption of the streams is done using public algo like
tripple DES or AES or it is open but not publically known algo such as
DVB-CSA (common scrabling algo).
However the key distribution mechanism is proprietry to the CA vendor.
Irdeto is proprietry one
Simulcrypt is one one...
