is the 'clip' property on a view really only settable at construct time?

In the implementation of LzView, the 'clip' attribute gets looked at in the construct method, but there appears to
be no API to set it or clear it after that. Is that by design?

I bet it is one of those things that you could not change after the  
fact in swf5.  If it can be dynamic now, we should make it so.
