it's time to rethink - Or not?

The 21st century, it's time to rethink the growing use of the death penalty in America.
The idea of using of violence to combat violence seems to possses an inherent contradiction.
Is contributing to the use of violence the best way to solve violent problems, or could our efforts be put to better use finding ways to end violence of all kinds?
Does this lower the level of all of us as a society to the level of the violent crminal?
Are we sanctioning capital punishment out of fear?
Do friends and relatives of victims demand death for the offender?
Yes, in some cases-but how do they feel about this in years to come after the passion and anger have subsided?
As they gain in spiritual knowledge and development through the years, are they more at peace with a solution of violence and revenge, or one of healing with justice served in alternative, more humane ways? [end of excerpt]

YES.. there ARE some that deserve the death penalty!
That Is my "human instinct" side of me talking- a natural response from ANY
Mom- that sees any sort of "abuse" towards a child!
Frankly- If I witnessed somthing of 'the kind',
I 'cannot' be held responsible for my "physical action"!
Now- there is alot of "spiritual energy" that goes into the death penalty- the jury, the ones administering the drugs/elec (whatever method) the witnesses, victims family... etc etc.
All these people (souls) are now 'partaking' of a "dispensing" of human life "act". Deliberately 'ending' a life.
As LOW of a life this person may seem to be (and IS), it is a life.
Frankly...
It would be better to throw him to the "lions" as they did in roman times...
Let "nature & the survival of the fitess" kick in- =)

Let him/her die the "coward" that they are.

It is a touchy- and mixed emotions "kind of subject"...
Every country has "thier way" of dealing with criminals.. who Is right?
Is there a "right or wrong" concerning this subject?
Can one turn one's head and 'pretend' not to see?

Do we "sacrifice" other souls (bearing witness to the execution) in carrying with them the "burden of" being part of "taking a life" for ONE that is 'evil/useless'? ...when as insignificant, as His/Her Life may seem... it Is still a life- ?

These are hard questions to answer- and 'who' IS right and/or wrong?

I'm like a she-wolf with her cubs if anyone ever so much as harmed any child or a helpless aging person.  Is it right to avenge? I don't consider that an avengance, I see it as protecting one from harms way. I'll deal with right or wrong of that after the fact, but no, I'm not going to stand by and allow it to happen. Do I agree with punishing the one that committed the crime, yes, I do. And I'll deal with the right or wrong of that when the time comes as well. We each will have time to answers those actions within ourselves, but for today, it's survival of the fittest and as my fit is not so surviving, I hope that by the grace of all beings, I will be protected from savages of the humanly beasts if an occasion should ever arise.
I've always said, put those that did the crime out in a hot desert with a tin hut and feed them peanut butter with no water or milk.

MOST RIGHTEOUS! Throw them to the Lions-- as Animals that They are!
In an ACT of "defending" Any other human- I would be guilty of 'who knows'-! ( survival/defense kicks in)... and YES I would fiercefully defend...'till death if necessary.

But also --- -
If I where presented with a case "for me" to decide and or witness an execution...
I don't think I (ME- PERSONALLY ME) could STOMACH the act---

I feel they (the criminal) looses ALL RIGHTS as a HUMAN the moment he/she takes and/or distroys another Human's Life- Period!

What I cannot 'deal' with is all the People that MUST get involved- to (as I say) "put down" a criminal. There is alot OF "planning" litigation- appeals- the victims/familes SUFFER-- etc etc...

FOR what-
for ONE Piece Of Crap that is "jerking off the justice system"???? and disrespecting life?

Parachut them somewhere over the pacific ocean- and let "survival of the fittess" take control.

the energy- the money - the family/dragging it on and on- the jurors- the waiting etc etc. Seems to me that TOOOOO much energy and "soul searching" goes into this - and I AM sure Many that Participate (execution) have their "issues" to deal with.
