hello!

I'm interesting to install the koha project for the public library of
my small city in sicily.

I'm searching for the italian translation, but unfortunatly I cannot
find it in the wpages.

koha seems to do alot of things we do not need at the moment, anyway
I'm interested to get in touch with italian users of it.

thank you very much and keep up the good work.

Chris Cormack is the present translation manager for Koha. basically
he is the guy that all the localization teams need to speak with. He
is also one of the original developers of Koha. He may be the person
to talk to.

Chris: any italian efforts online?

cheers

Hi!

I'm a humanities computing student in venice that is triyng to do a thesis on Koha.
First of all you need the translation files (.po), that you should find in misc/translator/po/ or can download from http://translate.koha.org/it/ depends on which version you want to use.
For the installation of the italian template you should follow the instruction of misc/translator/translator_doc.txt.
It's possible that you must change opaclanguagedisplay under system preferences, for enabling language switch.

Hope helps,
Giulio Bonanome

Ciao!

Buon lavoro,
Giulio Bonanome
