izpack2exe using maven

[6footplus]

Recently I worked on creating a install.exe version of my izpack compiled jar, mainly to due Vista's installer detection feature.

I've made some notes on how I did this and thought it could come in handy for fellow maven izpack users. Hence posting this info here.
