jelly:email tag and smtp Auth

Hi all,
I am using jelly as a part of JIRA.
I would like to use the jelly:email tag to send escalation emails, but
this tag does not support smtp authentication.
So how is it possible to provide a username and a password to send
mails with jelly via smtp ?
