kde 4.3.1 and xlockI've done some googling, and have read (and experienced) about the bug with kcheckpass in kde 4. I'm currently have version 4.3.1 installed, snv b121. I've found notes at http://techbase.kde.org/Projects/KDE_on_Solaris/OpenSolaris/Status#Broken_screen_lock. I've navigated to the location to make the configuration changes suggested, however I'm not seeing the appropriate options to change. Could someone please elaborate on how their configuring kde to invoke xlock, instead of kcheckpass? I'm currently invoking xlock via command line, until I resolve this issue.

Re: kde 4.3.1 and xlockHi Daniel,
it should be something like the following: - disable default shortcut System Settings -> Global Keyboard Shortcuts -> Run Command Interface -> "Lock Session" (remove the shortcut) - enable Ctrl+Alt+L as Input Action to spawn xlock System Settings -> Input Actions right-click the left pane -> New -> Global Shortcut -> Command/URL Trigger -> define shortcut Action -> Command/URL -> xlock Regards, hnhn Daniel Clark wrote: > I've done some googling, and have read (and experienced) about the bug > with kcheckpass in kde 4.
