Yes, I was obviously confused by the description but that may be just me. For
me a description like "4 photos(9x13cm)/page" would be clearer.

"malloc_printer" could be related to bug 196207.
If you can reproduce this crash all the times, can you try running Digikam
using the command "MALLOC_CHECK= digikam" from Konsole and checking if it
also crashes ?

I'm also wondering if this could be bug 215846.

hmmw, which version of kipi-plugins are you using?
4 photos now have their size on their description (if not missed any)
for instance "4_photos_9x13cm" as template name and "Name=9x13 cm (4 photos)"
as shown name.
The basic idea is to get all the templates that can fit into chosen page size,
if that is not clear i will try to change something into descriptions...

I fixed a similar issue two weeks ago. So this fix is actually not in 0.9.0 but
only in trunk until we release 1.0.0. If you know how to compile code, then
please check with the current trunk.

I tried this out in digiKam 1.0.0-rc1 with kipi-plugins 0.9.0 and
it is much better. The new "Bookmarks" feature solves all of my
problems and the initial coordinates are now the last coordinates
used, which is also perfect.

Some cameras offer this effect but applying it to the original picture, i.e.
not having a version without it is not the best solution.

It would be great if that effect could be added within digikam.

Things to be adjustable would be the colour of the vignette, i.e. whether the
user wants a bright vignette or a dark one, the radius and the shape, i.e.
rectangular, ellipse or circular.

According to http://www.flickr.com/groups/digikam/discuss/72157607665621938/
the anti-vignetting logic can be used to create such a tool.

29 camera models ??? 290 you want mean !

libraw is updated to kdegraphics/libkdcraw (kde core), not in digiKam as well.

last version of libraw is included to KDE 4.4.x (svn trunk)

Digikam 1.0-rc comes with libraw 0.7.2 upstream has 0.8.4 that supports
addition 29 camera models, any camera that came out with in last 7 months is
newer then 0.7.2 and thus unsupported. [Is there a way to manually ungrade
libraw?]

It seems that the crash is related to the deletion of the "m_urls" var.

I have experienced a similar crash on Gwenview:

The culprit line is in fact: "delete m_urls;"

This variable is also deleted on other situations (upload, close, object
destruction), but it is never set to 0 after deleting it... so that will cause
a double-delete error later in some cases. <- That would be a simple patch

Language auto-detection works with (tested with French):
- Google Maps
- Openstreetmap

It does not work with:
- MapQuest
- MSN Maps
- MultiMap

If there is a desire for other languages for those services, someone would have
to find out the URI for those languages and we can add them using i18n - but we
are in string freeze, so we would have to wait until after 1.0.

With gpssync i made a request for a satellite view through a dikam map server.
Is there anything requesting through digikam map server making my pc looking a
robot or a virus ?

this pb occurs each time within 2 or 3 geotaggings !
mainly i use map view to spot roughly then i use satellite view to spot
accurerately

In the flickr export dialog I choose the "Upload Options" tab.

There are 2 buttons where I can get more or less options to select:

"More tag options"

and

"More publication options"

When klicking on one of these two, the labels don't change to "Less tag
options" or "Less publication options" respectively.

Finding defect signals / slots

Hi @all,

I've noticed from time to time that someone found a defect signal / slot
connection, which can be somewhat annoying, because this issues only a
warning on the command line. Here's a bash alias I created to track
these errors. After the program terminates, it prints out errors
concerning connections:

alias digikamdbg="digikam 2>&1 | tee - /tmp/digikam.out; echo -e
\"\n\n\nPossible connection errors:\n\n\"; cat /tmp/digikam.out | grep
-A2 'Object::connect'"

Maybe this helps to better tack these problems.
