kde4Anyone running KDE4? Any AMD64 issues?
Can it be loaded running lenny? Is it stable enough to use now? I want to load it up on a working system - don't want to make a mess of it if it is too soon - a couple of bugs here and there would be OK - as long as it is currently usable. Is there any thing special to do to migrate from kde3 - to kde4? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Karl Schmidt EMail Karl@... Transtronics, Inc. Dunno.
Very, very stable, both the environment and the applications, like Dolphin, Okular and company.
I'm using it on my workstation and laptop, on my production machines.
AFICT, there is a tool for the kde3 to kde4 migration.

You could probably backport it yourself if you have the time, or remember to configure everything to install in /usr/local to save your future upgrade path. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-amd64-REQUEST@... with a subject of "unsubscribe". I use it on my workstation (AMD64 single-core) and laptop (ancient Thinkpad). No issues at all. > Is there any thing special to do to migrate from kde3 - to kde4?
