knoppix 6 does not support my video card

When knoppix 6 starts in graphical mode, I get a message from my monitor that the graphics signal is in an unsupported configuration.  I get this with two different monitors on the same computer.  The graphics card is the one supplied on the ASUS M2N86-VM motherboard (NVIDIA GeForce 7 Series Shader Model 3.0).

Usually, this should not happen, unless your monitor and graphics card
don't agree on a best match together. Can you please try the boot
options

knoppix vsync=75

or

knoppix xmodule=vesa

or

fb1024x768

?
