kubuntu9.10I got 3 bugreports about KWord from kubuntu 9.10 users. All of them against
Qt4.6TP (aka the alpha release). Can someone please tell me kubuntu didn't really ship the koffice compiled against the Qt4.6-TechnicalPreview ? bugs; 213397, 213647, 213648 I think I'm just going to close them as invalid. I would also really like to know how end users got their hands on an alpha release of Qt, it feels so much like kde4.0.0 all over again :( -- Thomas Zander _______________________________________________ koffice-devel mailing list koffice-devel@... https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/koffice-devel |

Re: kubuntu9.10> I got 3 bugreports about KWord from kubuntu 9.10 users. All of them
> against Qt4.6TP (aka the alpha release). The package dependencies for KWord (version 2.02) say that qt >= 4.5.1 is required. The version of Qt which ships with 9.10 is "4.5.3really4.5.2". This only refers to the dependencies though - not necessarily the version that the software was actually compiled against - how can I find out? Re: kubuntu9.10Ah - report #213397 mentions that the user is using the 'Kubuntu
Experimental' repository, which is shipping a newer version of KWord (2.1 RC1) compiled against a newer Qt than the one which ships with stock Ubuntu 9.10. Christian Mangold (neverselde) is the packager, I'll ask him what needs to be done before the KOffice packaging can be moved to our Beta Backports PPA which is for users who want to try testing. Sorry for the hassle on your end. Jonathan ________________________________________________________ 38 (1F2) Temple Park Crescent | jr@...
