line break in the 'before quotation' field

Thanks for a great TB extension.  Is it possible to have a line break in the text prior to quoting the selected text?

For example:

On <date>,
<author> wrote:
<<< quoted text here >>>

Notice the 'before quotation' consists of two lines.

%author gives the author, %date and %time do what one thinks they would do.  Can a line break be inserted?  Thank you in advance,
