Ubuntu precompiled fox has --with-xft, while repository has --without-xft.
If I list fonts with pitch=fixed, then --without-xft gives:
ar pl uming cn [arphic] 1
ar pl uming hk [arphic] 1
ar pl uming tw [arphic] 1
ar pl uming tw mbe [arphic] 1
batang [un] 1
bitstream vera sans mono [bitstream] 1
clean [schumacher] 1
courier 10 pitch [bitstream] 1
courier [adobe] 1
dejavu sans mono [dejavu] 1
dotum [un] 1
fixed [misc] 1
freemono [unknown] 1
gothic [kochi] 1
lucidatypewriter [b&h] 1
mincho [kochi] 1
tlwgmono [tlwg] 1
tlwgtypewriter [tlwg] 1
tlwgtypist [tlwg] 1
tlwgtypo [tlwg] 1
And --with-xft gives:
Bitstream Vera Sans Mono [bitstream] 513
Courier 10 Pitch [bitstream] 513
DejaVu Sans Mono [unknown] 513
FreeMono [unknown] 513
Inconsolata [unknown] 513
Nimbus Mono L [urw] 513
Tlwg Typo [unknown] 513
TlwgMono [unknown] 513
Unfortunately I'm using 'fixed[misc]' a lot, which is therefore saved
in ~/.foxrc/Adie. When I have repository in a middle of work and
run systemwide binary of Adie, it reads configuration and find out,
that font 'fixed' doesn't exist. So it uses some default - first one on the list,
which is some ugly 1glyph=30pix.
No need to look at this problem, I'm posting it, just to inform.
