loading DNAThe wiki docs say to use bp_bulk_load_gff.pl to load the DNA sequence
for our organism. The docs also say that bp_bulk_load_gff.pl will create a new database schema, deleting anything that was there prior. I've already loaded by GFF files. Is there are way to load the sequences without recreating the mysql database? Re: loading DNAHi Ryan,
It looks like from your other postings today, that you are trying to load GFF3 files. Try bp_seqfeature_load.pl, without the -c flag. For example, bp_seqfeature_load.pl -f -d dbname file.gff file.fasta Dave C On Wed, Nov 4, 2009 at 8:23 AM, Ryan Golhar <golharam@...> wrote: > The wiki docs say to use bp_bulk_load_gff.pl to load the DNA sequence > for our organism. Re: loading DNAThanks. That's what I though but the wikidocs and the help for
bp_seqfeature_load didn't indicate that and I wanted to be sure.
