long distance wifi simulation

i am to do a simulation of long distance wifi network, i have couple of questions about it. Firstly is ns2 can be used to simulate lets say 50 to 100 km p2p link? or is there any other simulator to do that? Moreover, can anyone refer me to some useful material for simulating such a long network.Please help me out. Thanks in advance
