I just spent a few hours over some pretty stupid thing.
I've created my red5 application an packaged it in to the war file. then I tried to deploy it in the webapps folder in the red5 but is would fail all the time and produce an empty folder with app name.
Then I found some examples in the form of war (xuggler stuff) and those deployed just fine. Also my application would deploy just fine in the exploded form.
So I tried to unpack the working war and repackage it with what I have. I've used winzip and it lead to the same problem when deploying the war. In is also pretty strange that war files produced by my IDE (IntelliJ IDEA) will not deploy too.
So it looks like maybe an issue with compression or something? I never saw it before in any other product.
Any thoughts?
