map eraser to mouse middle buttonHello everybody.
I have a tablet pc Lenovo X61, under ubuntu Jaunty. The stylus has 3 "buttons" : the pointer itself, the eraser and a button on the side of the pen. For now, the side button is mapped to "right clic", but the eraser does the same as the pointer. I'm wondering if it is possible to map the eraser button to the middle mouse button. Thanks for any idea. regards nicolas ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Come build with us! Re: wacomcpl feature requestsI think you agree with me that Linux is different from Windows in many ways. I would say the major one is you can add any features the way you like since the source is with you.
All contributions, code, testing, as well as docs, are welcome. Your contribution, adding your specific request to the trackers, is also very welcome. If you see the bug/feature request has been added, you can still add a comment to show your interest in having that feature supported. As a project maintainer, I provide support to new tablets and maintain backwards/forwards compatibility for kernels and X server as much as I can. In my spare time (I wish I have more :), I may pick up a bug/request from the tracker and work on it. Most of the time, someone else would pick it up and submit a patch. If we got enough positive feed for the patch or I got a chance to test it myself, the patch will be merged into the next release. We try to post a stable/production release every six months or so. This may not be a direct answer to your question. But I hope it helps you understand this project and explains what you can do to make this project better.
