microsatellites

dear all,

im trying to do association studies with microsatellites, which are present in a disease locus. im planning to order for about 10 microsatellites in this region. i got six markers from ncbi site, if want want more to fill in the gaps, where can i find the information for that other than ncbi ? and what should be the optimium spacing for the markers ?

kindly advice me.
