more problems with named instruments

Hi,

There is no nice way to prepend an instrument name with "+". If you try
setting the Instr ID to something like "+MyInstr", then:

        1) This is not compatible with the mixer (see previous email).

        2) It means <INSTR_ID> and <INSTR_NAME> cannot be used as
expected, since they preserve the "+"

One solution would be to have an extra tick box for "prepend +" on the
instrument definition, and use that to add the "+" to the "instr" code.

Regards,

Bernard

Hi Bernard,

Please add this information to the bug for the previous one in the
tracker.  I'm thinking it'll be easier just to check if + exists in
the name and to just remove it when using it for <INSTR_NAME> and in
the global variable names.  I'll probably go with that versus an
additional checkbox as I can't think of a case where you'd actually
want the + in the name.

Thanks!
