mouseClick vs mouseDoubleClick

I am having a little issue :)

When  I double click, I am seeing:

<on: mouseDoubleClick>

and then

<on: mouseClick>

Shouldn't the mouseclick be swallowed if there was a double click?

I'm also seeing CPrimitiveCostume handleMouseDown called twice per  
click.  Is this right?
