mozembed & windowsWhat's the status of mozembed on Windows?
Preferably for php-gtk2, but staying at the beta could be acceptable for the time being. Elizabeth mentioned it a year ago as "other thing I need to work on", but seems stale. There're some texts on the web talking about mozembed on windows, but being "too big" and other vague references. No download, no steps to get it. I'd happily help on having it working, but i don't have experience with the source of gtk, php nor firefox. Plus they all have complex compiling methods and opening new paths is not easy when you are not used to the base. I'll come back to it when the current branch of the new api on the mozilla end is merged into the mozilla trunk. Here's some information on the subject if you're interested. http://wiki.mozilla.org/Gtkmozembed For now gtkhtml is a much better solution if you need html in a php-gtk2 app. Thanks, Elizabeth -- PHP-GTK General Mailing List (http://gtk.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php |

This is an entirely volunteer project, so if you want you're welcome to create an extension for it, we simply don't have the manpower.
