multiple permalink URIs on the blog?

I made a post on my blog last night. I updated it (through my XML-RPC
editor) this morning to add my forgotten bookmarks. I now have two URLs
that resolve to the same content:
example.org/blog/archive/2007/04/29/post-title.html   and
example.org/blog/archive/2007/04/30/post-title.html

...which to me seems like non-ideal behaviour in a permalink. Has this
been addressed in the codebase in the past 6 months? (I'm a bit behind
on updating.) Would anyone agree this is a bug?

cheers,
adam

no that isn't fixed, the date between archive and post-title is puerly
optional

Just don't change the date and it should produce the same URL all the
time :)

Did your XML-RPC editor change the date? Mine (ecto) leaves the old one,
which is IMHO the right thing, if it's only an update
