ndOCRAD in Blind Assistant

Good morning, I'm Filippo Battaglia from
Italy. I'm the responsable for the development
of Nanodesktop Project and Embvision
Project at Visilab Research Center -
University of Messina - Italy.

We're created a version of OCRAD that is
compatible with Nanodesktop system.

We want to integrate it in our Blind Assistant
program, but we have some troubles.

The performance in recognition are quite
poor. Can you give to me any informations
about the optimization of the engine ?

We are using a OpenCV adaptive thresholding
before passing the cleaned image to OCRAD
engine. But it seems to run bad with Sans Serif
Font.

Can you help me with some tips ?
