I was in Korea last week, and took a ~400 km road trip (in a cage) from Daegu

[Carl]: I was in Chicken, Alaska Sunday.
Looking at the mud covered bikes that had just come over the Top of
the World Highway, I remarked, “Guess photo radar would never work in
Alaska.”
You might have thought I just said I like to rape babies before
cooking and eating them.
Sheese it won’t work in Alaska.  Even the cages’ plates are covered with mud.
The photo radar set on Wilson Lane in Bethesda certainly cause a slow down.

If it's anything like the one on Wooton Parkway, it's only about 100'
long, then traffic is right back at prior speed.  Seems like a pretty
small safety gain for the money.  They'd probably do better by sending
out DVDs of "Signal 30" to anyone who gets any sort of ticket.

Found this -
http://www.trapster.com/rl/Trapster.php

It's an iPhone app, but the map's worth checking out even if you don't have
an iPhone.

Loaded up the app, be interesting to see how it works. I uses the GPS
function of the phone and alerts you when near a trap. You can define what
sort of traps you are most interested in. For instance, I've turned off the
red light camera alert, since I know better than to run them...
