nmap OS detection

i am trying to run nmap scan in Windows environment for os detection...
but i am getting the error message as "Too many fingerprints match this host to give specific OS details"
Please suggest how can i overcome this problem

it would be very helpful if someone specifies a model example that i can use on command line to solve my problem,

What version are you using?

I'm using 4.76 and it seems to work fairly well in a Windows environment.
