nmap killt internet-connection

Hi@all!

I use nmap on my computer which runs sygate personal firewall.
When I scan a target nmap delivers results but when the scan is finished
my Internet-Connection is not available, I can not even access Lan-Resources.
When I do a ping to any host the dos-box answers: Hardware-Error.
When I deactivate the Sygate-Wall, everything works ok.
Any Idea what this is?
