node grouping

Hello all!

Is there a way to group objects?

I just want to have a flexible way of placement. I realized matrix are
very handy because I can place some nodes in several matrices and place
the matrices using relative positions between them because they are also
nodes. What I am asking is if I can just take a bunch of nodes and make
them belong to a new node which I can put where I want to.
