&lt;br&gt;I am doing simulation by ns2.34 and need some help.
&lt;br&gt;I have to change drs-protocol. In original version
&lt;br&gt;number of forward hops between nodes is unlimited.
&lt;br&gt;I need just two hops (1_node -&amp;gt; 2_node -&amp;gt; 3_node)
&lt;br&gt;Could anybody help me?

&lt;br&gt;Loaded plugins: refresh-packagekit
&lt;br&gt;Setting up Install Process
&lt;br&gt;Parsing package install arguments
&lt;br&gt;Package libX11-devel-1.1.4-1.fc9.i386 already installed and latest version
&lt;br&gt;Nothing to do 
&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Moreover, as a proof, let me tell you that I have been using ns-2.32 and ns-2.34 earlier and they installed successfully.

&lt;br&gt;I'm using NS2.29 with mannasim patch.
&lt;br&gt;i'm trying to run leach from the mannasim package. Everything seems to
&lt;br&gt;be running fine and the simulation also runs till the end. But the
&lt;br&gt;result says : &amp;quot;Warning! There are no nodes in cluster&amp;quot; for all the
&lt;br&gt;cluster heads. Each cluster heads clusterNodes_ list is empty.
&lt;br&gt;I edited leachapp.cc to broadcast message from a node after cluster
&lt;br&gt;heads have been selected, but all nodes except the ones being cluster
&lt;br&gt;heads receive this message. Even sending a message particularly to
&lt;br&gt;cluster head doesnt work. Also No cluster head receives the JOIN
&lt;br&gt;request sent by other nodes.
&lt;br&gt;It seems cluster heads aren't able to receive. I also noted that the
&lt;br&gt;node, before being selected cluster heads receives messages perfectly.
&lt;br&gt;&amp;nbsp;Plz help. Thanks

&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I am doing a job to simulate a scenario with 2 BS, 2 mobile nodes each
&lt;br&gt;in one BS's domain respectively, and the 2 BS connected with a wired
&lt;br&gt;node. I describe it below: D-----A-B-C-----E, DE are two mobile nodes,
&lt;br&gt;AC are two Base-stations and B is the wired node. I need to build 3 TCP
&lt;br&gt;links: D-&amp;gt;A, D-&amp;gt;B, D-&amp;gt;E. 
&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;As in my script, I find D-&amp;gt;A, D-&amp;gt;B is normal while there is no TCP
&lt;br&gt;connection between D and E through D-&amp;gt;A-&amp;gt;B-&amp;gt;C-&amp;gt;E. Could anyone can help

&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The question is how to simulate the VoIP traffic in the WLAN infrastructure mode in term of scenario? ( For example, I want to have 4 mobile nodes (clients) to send VoIP traffic (UDP packets 60 bytes/ 20ms) to the other and all the traffic must be reach the AP first, AP acts like the bridge). ( node 0 is AP, node 1 sends udp packets to node 2 and vice versa, node 3 sends udp packets to node 4 and vice versa - basically there are 2 calls going on)
&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Initially, I made use the code in ns example folder (~ns-2.34/tcl/ex/802.11/infra.tcl). The routing protocol used is DumbAgent.
&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Later on, one of my colleague suggested that the nodes will connect direct to the other and not through AP if I use this scenario, and she suggested another scenario that all the sinks [Agent/Null] should be placed at the AP (node_0) and all the traffic send direct to them. It appears to me that scenario worries only the uplink but not downlink.

&lt;br&gt;I tried to embed the shogun library(-lshogun) into NS2,I am sure there is no problem with this library since i tried several example successfully with this library alone.
&lt;br&gt;i just added the library in the Makefile as follow, no additional codes are added into the ns2 project.

&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;This is because the length of your packets is too big. There is a maximum
&lt;br&gt;value of 127 bytes for PHY payload packets in 802.15.4. So max size for CBR
&lt;br&gt;traffic is 127 minus MAC header which is 7 by default in ns2 if I remember
&lt;br&gt;well.

&lt;br&gt;Packets are even deleted (removed) by their node generator.
&lt;br&gt;Thus you have to parameterize rather indeed the rate of the traffic (cbr), so that data packets will not be eliminated by the issue of overloading the queue.
&lt;br&gt;I advise you to work with the new format of trace files to see better things. To do it, modify at first the line &amp;quot;newtrace_= 0;&amp;quot; by &amp;quot;newtrace_= 1;&amp;quot; in the cmu-trace.cc file and recompile your code [. / configure; make clean; make]Good luck
