Hi all,

We will be upgrading the nsnam server, which hosts the ns-3 website and mercurial repositories, on Monday, October 26.  There will be several hours of downtime, and hopefully the upgrade process goes smoothly.  Note that all directories under "/home" are backed up daily; however, if you have anything very important (that you haven't already backed up!), I recommend you copy it from the server.  I plan to start the upgrade around 14:00 EDT (18:00 UTC).  I will send out an email after I'm done.  Also note that the server will be getting a new IP, so this may cause some extra delay.

This is a reminder that the nsnam server, which hosts the ns-3 website, mediawiki, bugzilla, and mercurial repositories will be going offline for an upgrade in approximately 2 hours.  I will send out an email when the server is going down and immediately after it is back up, which will hopefully only take a few hours.

Hi all,

The server is back up, and I think everything is back to normal with the exception of bugzilla.  I'll be working on getting that back up later tonight.  Please let me know if you notice any issues.  Also, we did have to move the server, so the IP changed.  You will probably notice this the first time you try to ssh.

nsnam server update:  I found a small issue with the server being unable to access outside connections.  This has caused some minor issues, but the most noticeable one is mercurial commits will not be mailed to the mailing list.  This should be fixed tomorrow.

Hi all,

Bugzilla is back up.  Sorry for the downtime.  Please let me know if you have any issues with any of the services on the nsnam server.
