number of mugic cards

the rules state in the demo deck to have one mugic per creature so if you just do 1v1 3v3 you have to take out mugic cards right?

why would there be a need to take out mugic just because your doing a certain match.....besides it depends if your creatures can use mugic or not

No, he's right. If you're playing a 1v1 match, you only get 1 mugic. 3v3 allows you to have 3 mugic for the match, 6 mugic for a 6v6, 10 for a 10v10, and so on. You always have the same number of creatures,  mugix, and battlegear in any one match, and it's always determined by the number of creatures in your army (1, 3, 6, 10, 15, 21, 28).
