open project in separate window

I am using 6.0.2 and I see a difference in project open behavior.

In past versions I saw this behavior:

1.       set preferences so open project was set to "In current window" and NO confirmation was checked when using project pop-up

2.       using "down arrow" in the left tree pane, I could switch projects in the current window with no prompts

3.       If I wanted to open a second project in a new window, I would use the Project->Open... menu item and a project selector dialog would open allowing me to choose a project and click OK or Open and a new project window would open.

In 6.0.2, I see this behavior:

1.       set preferences so open project was set to "In current window" and NO confirmation was checked when using project pop-up

2.       using "down arrow" in the left tree pane, I can switch projects in the current window with no prompts

3.       If I wanted to open a second project in a new window, I try to use the Project->Open... menu item but it just triggers the same project pop-up from the "down arrow" in the left tree pane.

4.       I must use the Window->New Project window menu item


Is this working as designed?  Just curious.
