order of terminals and nonterminals in jjtree nodes

I'm somewhat new at this.
 
I'm using Tom Copeland's C++ grammar and I'm had some success in adapting it for my purposes in parsing Visual C++.  However, I need the AST and I can't figure out how to discern the order of terminals and nonterminals from the parse tree.
 
Can someone suggest an approach to generating the AST?
