thanks for the great tip! From now one, I will run the command each
>>
>> sorry for the mess. I hope everything is back in order now.
>>
>
> You also changed a lot of lang files.
> Although I see Marc has beaten me to it in rev 13134, a way to fix this
> completely is described in
> http://svnbook.red-bean.com/nightly/en/svn.branchmerge.basicmerging.html#svn.branchmerge.basicmerging.undo
>
> It also really helps to force yourself to always run a "svn diff
> [optional file-names] | vim -" just before committing. It lets you
> review the changes in a vim buffer.
> This habit has saved me a number of times already,
>
> Yes, that makes sense, we should have done it from beginning...

Well, in a sense, branches are supposed to be for active stuff, so
during GSoC it made sense to have the code there, but now I agree with
Herman's suggestion and I'll do the move.
>>
>>

The space no problem for me as well. As for the speed of updating, I
usually update only in the trunk/phpMyAdmin or branch that I'll be
working on. Still slow, but that's just source forge.

>
> and still have to check out the whole /branches.

Yes, svn sucks on this. I have been able to do selective checkout in
past, but it was gradually converted to full checkout.

Well I really do not care that it eats 3 GB of my diskspace, but I hate
how slow it is...
>>>
>>>> I think we could remove pre-2.11 themes from
>>>> http://www.phpmyadmin.net/home_page/themes.php
>>> You're right, I will make the change.
>> By the same occasion I would like to move in the file manager all themes
>> under a common "themes" directory, for example:
>> themes
>> arctic_ocean
>> 3.1-3.2
>>
>> Any issue with this?
>
> No problem, I'll adjust website code afterwards.

> Hi,
>
> Thank you for your feedback and HTML validity corrections!
>
> At first, I will look at the points and try to correct the problem with
> replication user.
>
> Could you please provide some further feedback about testing the code?
> I've been testing the code on a group of fresh installations of MySQL
> sandbox and on one real master-master replication environment.
>

The trick to testing this sort of thing is to define multiple scenarios,
you could also call them use-cases.
In these you lay-out steps that a user would need to accomplish a
particular task

E.g.:
* two clean databases, replicate all
* master with data, clean slave, replicate all
* master and slave with data, replicate some
* Existing replication setup where one of the servers changes

Of cause it's always a good idea to think of mistake that a user could
make, to see is there is sufficient warning or error handling.

Ideally you could implement such scenarios in a unit test, but the most
important is that you think of several and walk through these.

--
Met vriendelijke groet / Regards,

Herman van Rink
