populate artifacts in new nexus instance

Hi,
I would like to know if there's a method to quickly populate/clone a new install instance of nexus with repositories from an active nexus instance. Basically, I have a production nexus running with the working directory pointing to remote filer /opt/nexus-production. Recently, I install another nexus instance on a new server. For this instance, I would like to have the same metadata (repositories) as the one in production server. May I simply copy the production working directory (/opt/nexus-production) to a new directory and point the new install instance there? Will there be any reference/dependency issue? Both instance should be independently operated.
Thanks,
KH

Yes, copying the work folder is the fastest way. All the paths are usually relative so it probably will just work right away.
