Yes, copying the work folder is the fastest way. All the paths are usually relative so it probably will just work right away.

Hi,
I would like to know if there's a method to quickly populate/clone a new
install instance of nexus with repositories from an active nexus instance.
Basically, I have a production nexus running with the working directory
pointing to remote filer /opt/nexus-production. Recently, I install another
nexus instance on a new server. For this instance, I would like to have the
same metadata (repositories) as the one in production server. May I simply
copy the production working directory (/opt/nexus-production) to a new
directory and point the new install instance there? Will there be any
reference/dependency issue? Both instance should be independently operated.
Thanks,
KH
