powerbutton and acpi

Hello,
I have a lot of Fujitsu Siemens Scenic 800 Workstations. When I set ACPI on in BIOS, I can not power off the pc with the power button. The monitor becomes black with a little white line left on top. I need ACPI for shutdown by cronjob and reconnect menu. Any Ideas how I can tell the powerbutton to poweroff the machine? yes, it is included. It also works nice with FJS XL PCs. Ich also flashed the bios of the FJS 800.
