problem building nbhost-mkdep ... -x assembler-with-cpp atoll.s

Hi there,
I am a total noob to netbsd, I would like to see how the kernel test
and tool chain works.

nbhost-mkdep ... -x assembler-with-cpp atoll.s
says it does not know "-x assembler-with-cpp"
